JEFFREY S. MILES, Esq. (General Counsel)
During the last fourteen years, Jeffrey S. Miles has been continuously involved as a consultant for a variety of entertainment companies in the areas of production, distribution and finance, and has provided distribution oversight and management of a film library. Concurrently Mr. Miles has maintained an active legal practice serving variously as a business and legal affairs representative, or general counsel for several financial consulting, investment banking, mortgage financing and internet based companies. In addition to representing a select group of entertainment business enterprises, including individual producers, directors and writers, Mr. Miles has a varied business and legal background having served as an executive in a publishing conglomerate as well as in several film finance, production and distribution organizations, and including thirty-six years as an attorney handling a broad range of transactional work.
As a business executive, Mr. Miles’ earlier career positions included, at various times, publisher of the international editions and executive vice-president of the esteemed entertainment trade publication, The Hollywood Reporter, president of a commercial printing company; vice president of a tour and travel company. In addition Miles has co-founded, owned and operated a film distribution company pioneering the exploitation of non-theatrical markets worldwide; has represented foreign-based distributors acquiring distribution rights to American produced films; served for five years as general counsel and president of foreign sales for an independent production and distribution consortium; served as a consultant to producers and distribution companies in arranging the packaging, financing and distribution of feature films and television programs; performed full production legal services, and received such credit, on at least seven motion pictures; served and received credit as associate producer on two feature films; and has formed and served as a trustee of several non-profit foundations devoted to the performing arts.
Mr. Miles graduated from the Choate School (now also known as Choate Rosemary Hall), holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania, a Juris Doctor from the Loyola University School of Law in Los Angeles and is a member of the California Bar. Mr. Miles has been listed in Who’s Who in the Entertainment Business and is fluent in French and Italian, conversant in Spanish.

Ms. Hardin is known for making stars. As one of the top feature casting directors in Hollywood, her unique eye has helped launch the careers of stars such as Terrence Howard, Laurence Fishburne, Halle Berry, Chris Tucker, Bernie Mac, Jennifer Lopez, Jennifer Connelly, Cole Hauser, Tyrees Gibson, Cedric The Entertainer, Mike Epps, Gabrielle Union, Usher Raymond, Larenz Tate, Chris Kattan, Ludacris, Bridgette Wilson, Vanessa L. Studio executives remarked that with Tyrese & Taraji Henson, Hardin â€œhas discovered yet another star in the making. In 2001 Hardin Developed, Produced and Cast a series of Diversity Showcases for ABC as their Director of Talent Development, Programs and Casting. In launching this program, she inspired not only ABC to hire talent that she discovered for primetime shows, but also inspired other networks to follow suit. Each network continues with diversity showcases nationwide to this day.
Her television work includes the first three seasons of UPN’s hit show Moesha, starring singer/actress Brandy Norwood. One of her first television shows, Dream On, was a huge success for HBO. Other television credits include One on One (starring Flex Alexander and Kyla Pratt) and South Central (starring Larenz Tate and Jennifer Lopez in her acting debut). Eleanor Earl (PRODUCER)
Ms. Earl has been an Assistant Professor of English and Cinema Studies at Hampton University since 2003. She also serves as the Cinema Studies Program Coordinator. She teaches courses in Screenwriting, Introduction to Motion Pictures, Film Criticism, English Literature and Written Communication. Ms. Earl is a 2009 recipient of the Edward L. Hamm Distinguished Teaching Award.
Previously, she was an Adjunct Professor of Communication and Humanities at Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA for five years. During her time in Los Angeles she established E. L. Earl Entertainment, Inc., a company that develops film, television, theatre, and music projects. The company joint-ventured with Vertex Records (Howard and Tammy McCrary) and Earthsong Entertainment (Chaka Khan) to create a Film and Television Music Division. Recently, she co-executive produced a television pilot with the Diamond Film Company, The 20 Questions (www.the20questions.com ); and joint-ventured with Universal Exchange Programs to secure capital for independent feature film productions.
Ms. Earl has been the Head of Development for Hollywood’s Living Legend of Urban Comedy and BET Comic View’s former Co-Host, Reynaldo Rey since 2002. Mr. Rey’s production company, Sweet Redd Enterprises and Ms. Earl are producing a feature film, FOXX, based on the friendship of Rey and Redd Foxx during the 12 years Foxx managed his career (www.reynaldorey.com ).
She has also co-written the book Blacks Behind-the-Scenes in Film and Television with legendary film producer, Monty Ross.
Ms. Earl has composed and performed music for short films, been commissioned to write feature-length screenplays, and is Festival Director for the Mid-Atlantic Black Film Festival (www.mabff.org ). She received a B.A. in Rhetoric and Communication Studies from The University of Virginia and earned an M.A. in Humanities with emphases in Communication, English Literature, and Theatre from Old Dominion University, with graduate credits in English Literature from a program held at Oxford University in Oxford, England. She took an M.F.A. in Theatre Writing with a specialization as a Bookwriter, Lyricist, and Librettist from The Tisch School of the Arts at New York University.
